BIOFerm™ Energy Systems, Inc., a Madison-based renewable energy company, is looking for a full-time or part-time Marketing/Sales co-op/intern, with the potential for full-time hire. The position will allow for personal and professional growth by taking on new marketing/sales initiatives and responsibilities in a fast-paced (and fun) renewable energy company.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure outgoing documents adhere to Brand Corporate Identity

  • Write/proof content for website, press releases, blogs, social media, literature

  • Research industry topics, events, market segments, etc.

  • Interact and follow up with sales clientele

  • Generate sales documents

  • Track and analyze marketing and sales initiatives

  • Aid with conference preparation

  • Brainstorm new marketing initiatives

  • Various other tasks as required

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field

  • Self-driven, self-motivated, and outgoing

  • Must work well in both a team and solo setting

  • Takes lead on new project initiatives and drives existing projects to completion

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Eye for accuracy and consistency

  • Organizationally savvy

  • Exceptional research and analytical skills

  • Ability to use Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere) recommended, but not required
