A Bioferm dry fermentation plant in Dannenberg, Germany will be featured in the International Biogas Study Tour 2009. The Internationales Biogas und Bioenergie Kompetenzzentrum (International Biogas and Bioenergy Competency Center) is offering a 4-day study tour September 23rd – 26th. Participants will visit planners of biogas plants, manufacturers of components and biogas plants with new or groundbreaking concepts or technology in Germany. The visit of Bioferm’s plant in Dannenberg is scheduled for the second day of the tour. The plant in Dannerberg is a 7 fermenter system with a 526 kW installed electrical capacity. The plant processes 11,000 metric tons of renewable green material per year and supplies heat to local communities via a district heating system.
