BIOFerm plant in Bennati finishing commissioning

A new BIOFerm plant in Bennati, Italy will begin operation soon. Construction of the plant is completed, and interconnection of the transformer to the power grid was just accomplished last week. The plant is now going through final software checks and plans to fill the first fermenter are set for this upcoming weekend.

The BIOFerm plant in Bennati will take in 28,000 metric tons of organic material each year. The plant has an installed electric capacity of 910 kW, utilizing 3 CHPs, which are packaged by HAGL and run MAN engines.
