BIOFerm was one of the first anaerobic digestion companies to become a founding member of the American Biogas Council (ABC) and holds a position on the interim executive steering committee. The ABC is an industry group focused on promoting the advancement of anaerobic digestion as a renewable energy technology in the United States. The ABC will lead movements in encouraging legislation that creates financial feasibility for biogas plant projects creating electricity, heat and natural gas substitute. The ABC is currently seeking membership from participants in all areas of the anaerobic digestion industry.
