Project Manager Wisconsin

BIOFerm is currently looking for an organized, driven, energetic individual to serve as a Project Manager for projects in several locations in WI and additional assistance elsewhere in US. The project manager would be responsible for managing and facilitating the completion of all aspects of the design and construction process for the project.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering,(preferably electrical or civil) and five – seven years of industry experience minimum
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects
  • Prefer experience in the wastewater, ethanol , renewable energy industry.
  • Experience in oversight of engineering services and construction management
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Great interpersonal and negotiating skills and professional personality
  • Comfort in communicating on a technical level when working with outside customers, contractors, and the internal engineering team
  • Prior experience working with documents such as construction drawings, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Demonstrates experience with scheduling, estimating, contract negotiation
  • Will also work on design aspects of projects in their field of expertise
    • Strong computer and organizational skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
    • Autodesk AutoCAD or equivalent experience
    • Self-starter, results-oriented, highly motivated, and able to multi-task
    • Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
    • Primavera Sure Trak or Microsoft Project experience or equivalent
    • Experience in the renewable energy field is a plus
    • Additional project management certifications are a plus
    • Valid US Passport and driver’s license

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Develop project budgets and schedules, and manage the project to stay on-time and within-budget
  • Contribute to project estimates
  • Direct development of construction documents and ensure such documents are complete, current, and organized appropriately
  • Review deliverables for project
  • Supervise engineers, construction managers, and contractors
  • Attend and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, colleagues, subcontractors, and other parties
  • Act as liaison between company and client to ensure client is up to date on project development
  • Manage technical, regulatory, and performance aspects of project
  • Coordinate resources with other team members to execute project plans, and delegate tasks as required
  • Minimize company exposure and risk on projects; perform risk analysis and management
